"I had a lower front tooth removed during orthodontic treatment many years ago with Dr. Checkay and was not fully informed of the long term effects. Over the years my bite has not worked properly—I have an overbite/overjet and my upper and lower teeth don’t meet. Being told my teeth were “straight” doesn’t reflect the daily discomfort and challenges I live with. I’m sharing this so future patients can ask detailed questions and understand the potential impact of extractions."
